Tom is the current Woodbury Town Supervisor  

His background includes:  B.A. Business Administration; Experience in Employee Contract Negotiations; Former Department of Correction Director and Administrator; Civilian of the Year Award recipient; Retired Department of Correction; Supervisor of Mechanics; NYC Ironworkers Local 197; International Ironworkers Executive Board Member Eastern Seaboard; Chairman Ironworkers Local 197 Welfare Fund, 9 yrs.; Local 197 Apprentice Welding Instructor;

He is a second Generation Woodbury Resident, father of 4 adult children and a Section 9 High School Sports Official; Orange County Basketball Officials Association, President

While in office, Tom's record includes  maintaining a AA Bond Rating. keeping the Town of Woodbury finances in excellent condition. He's negotiated Union contracts for Town Employees, Dispatchers and Police; Obtained $2.97 million NYS grant for Ridge Rd. bridge; negotiated lower tax increases for Pool and Refuse staying under 2% cap. His work has had a positive impact on the quality of life such as renovating the John P. Burke Memorial Pool; enhancing the Town Animal Shelter and Dog Park; working with Law Enforcement to install security cameras in strategic locations throughout Town. In addition, he has been active in the growth at the Rez Sensory Park;  upgrades to Highland Mills Library/Senior Center; rebuilding the Town Court Building; and reassigning the Animal Shelter oversight to Police Department.

LIDICE MENDOZA  FOR TOWN COUNCIL


Lidice moved to Woodbury from the Bronx with her husband and 2 children. Loving the small town atmosphere and the green spaces, she was eager to do her part in helping make Woodbury a welcoming place for other families. She joined the Town of Woodbury Parks and Recreation Committee, the Democratic Committee and this year decided to run for Town Council.  Lidice is bi-lingual

Her background: Lidice is Director of Operations for Margalit Startup City; She studied at Berkeley College and NYU and has a Degree in Business Management and a Masters in Real Estate Management. Lidice is experienced in management, budgets, and understands how to get projects done on time. She manages operations of over 2.5 million square feet portfolio. She will bring her budgeting, administration and analytics experience to her work as a town council member. She has spearheaded over $25 million dollars capital improvement projects; trained and managed over 40 staff; manages maintenance contracts; partnerships with several NYC unions; Construction and Facilities Management; directs property operations; and develop $20,000 yearly marketing campaigns. She brings a lot to the job of Town Counncil member and is ready to go!

Bob runs Robert Hunter Plumbing and Heating business in Woodbury. He is a long time resident of Woodbury and served on the Town Council for several years before taking a brief hiatus.
